Week 6 Reflection: Painted Paper

This week I took a look at an awesome blog called Painted Paper which a blog filled with great ideas for projects in an art classroom.painted papers

To get into the festive spirit I looked at one of the more receFlag collagent posts on a great 4th of July project students can do where they can use their imagination to paint an american flag to help celebrate the holiday. To find this simple 40 minute project, the blog takes you to teacherspayteachers.com where you can download the entire lesson for free on pdf whenever you want, this including all of this blog’s other projects. Only requires you to register free to the website and all of these great projects can be yours to use for any art educational classroom.

In my future art classroom I will definitely refer back to this blog, named Art Education Blog of the year 2014 through the Art of Education website, as I look for more and more projects for the students. The Art of Ed website is also a great resource for any other art teachers looking for a great list of blogs.
